Conservation Commission · Meeting of May 8, 2026
NH HILLSBOROUGH — Hillsborough Conservation Commission authorizes $50 for nesting-season sign at Confluence. Vice Chair James McDonough led the seven-member panel in approving the spending to reinforce a "No Dogs during nesting season" policy at the conservation area. The commission reviewed a draft letter about the restriction that McDonough will submit to the Messenger and the Hub.
Jim Riddle volunteered to purchase and install the sign, while Recording Secretary John Segedy will post a public notice on the town website. The panel also discussed ongoing Natural Resources Inventory work and negotiations with the Masons about a potential kiosk.
