Conservation Commission authorizes Head to oppose Myrtle Street subdivision

NH HILLSBOROUGH — Hillsborough Conservation Commission unanimously authorizes chair to represent board on subdivision fight. Chair Richard Head gained authorization in a 6-0 vote to represent the commission's environmental concerns at a Planning Board public hearing on a proposed Myrtle Street subdivision. Members raised concerns about a detention pond's effect on nearby wetlands and questioned stormwater management and maintenance responsibility.
Head was also authorized to research state Department of Environmental Services rules on flood plains and wetland permits.
