Conservation Commission authorizes wetland ordinance for Planning Board

NH HILLSBOROUGH — The Conservation Commission unanimously authorized Chair Richard Head to present a draft wetland ordinance to the Planning Board and request support at its June 23 meeting, with the measure passing 7-0. The commission also unanimously approved a $300 payment to the New Hampshire Lakes Association for annual support. Linda White agreed to consult the New Hampshire Association of Conservation Commissions for reference materials on ordinance models, and Richard Head will consult state planning officials for guidance.
