Conservation Commission scrutinizes Monty's application

Conservation Commission · Meeting of August 21, 2026

NH HILLSBOROUGH — Commission comments on waste management proposal to operate from 23 Gibson Road. The Hillsborough Conservation Commission voted unanimously to authorize Chair Richard Head to provide written and verbal comments on Monty's Waste Management application to operate a business office and park empty trucks at 23 Gibson Road. The commission raised concerns about parking surface, truck-fluid leakage, the number of trucks, animal control, and impacts to town-owned rear abutting property containing wetlands and commission-developed trails.

Head will present these concerns during the Planning Board hearing.
