HCC approves Eversource permit application for Jackman Substation

NH HILLSBOROUGH — Hillsborough Conservation Commission approves Eversource wetlands permit application. The HCC voted unanimously to authorize Chair Richard Head to sign an application for expedited review of Eversource's Jackman Substation project, which involves two phases of work including expansion of a grounding grid (10 square feet of permanent wetland fill and 400 temporary) and installation of a new transformer (100 square feet of temporary wetland impact during construction). The Commission also approved prior meeting minutes by 6-0-1 vote and received updates on trail maintenance and a proposed decorative iron fence project at an old bridge over the North Branch River near Route 202.
