NH HILLSBOROUGH — Hillsborough awards $273,612 paving contract to Pike Industries and appoints board members. Road Agent Ernie Butler recommended Pike Industries after reviewing six bids for the 2026 Beard Road project. The Selectboard unanimously approved a $4,950 survey for Grimes Field parking expansion and appointed Jennifer Schammel to the Economic Development Commission and reappointed Laurie Jutzi, Brad Hunt, and Pat Bradley to the Historic District Commission.
The sidewalk project begins mobilization May 16 with completion by October 1, 2026. A developer forfeited a $500,000 Community Development Block Grant after unpermitted demolition at 17 West Main Street.
