Hillsborough Conservation Commission approves Natural Resources Inventory update

NH HILLSBOROUGH — Hillsborough Conservation Commission authorizes Natural Resources Inventory update with Moosewood Ecological. The commission voted unanimously (7-0) to enter into a contract with Moosewood Ecological LLC to modernize and update the town's resource inventory, with the ecological consulting firm establishing a shared information platform and conducting approximately two weeks of field work. Chair Richard Head was unanimously authorized to comment and testify at the Harvey Way site plan and subdivision hearing, where the commission raised concerns about impervious surfaces, stormwater management, wetland impacts, and effects on downslope properties.

The commission also voted unanimously to award the Loon Award to Hope Thomas, conditioned on her acceptance.
