Hillsborough Trustees of Trust Funds establish roles, approve scholarships, seek counsel on fund designations

NH HILLSBOROUGH — Hillsborough Trustees of Trust Funds establish 2026 roles and approve fund distributions. Chair Riché Colcombe continued in her position; Laurie Jutzi was elected Secretary and Judy Thibault remained primary contact for Trustee Investments. The board unanimously approved scholarship distributions and capital reserve reimbursements totaling $99,416.91 across Municipal Buildings, Fire Department Equipment, Parks Maintenance, and Manahan Park accounts.
Colcombe reported the board has requested Town Counsel guidance on cemetery perpetual care fund designations and the eligibility scope of scholarship trusts that name "Hillsborough graduates" rather than specifically "Hillsboro-Deering" graduates.
