NH HILLSBOROUGH — Hillsborough Planning Board advances 10 zoning amendments to Town Meeting 2026. Planning Director Robyn Payson presented all 10 articles to the board, which unanimously recommended each for voter consideration. Changes include streamlined accessory dwelling unit rules, elimination of Conditional Use Permit requirements for detached ADUs, and new permission for tiny homes in all residential zones except the Historic District.

Additional amendments allow multifamily housing in commercial zones subject to ground-floor commercial occupancy or minimum floor-area requirements, and address motor vehicle service cleaning, historic district signage, and Class VI road insurability.
