NH HILLSBOROUGH — Hillsborough Selectboard approves $31,809 recreation van purchase from established reserves. Chairman Iris Campbell, Selectman James Bailey, and Selectman Richard Pelletier unanimously voted to buy a 2016 Ford Transit Wagon from Merchants Auto to be paid from Parks and Recreation Revolving Account and Youth Services Special Projects Account. The board also unanimously appointed James Ainsworth as Deputy Treasurer for one year from three applicants and authorized the Planning Director to execute documentation for the West Main Street Sidewalk Project under state Transportation Alternatives and Highway Safety Improvement programs.
Water and Sewer Commissioner Dana Clow presented a five-year sewer infrastructure plan projecting annual town capital expense of $370,000 to replace aging clay pipe sections on Myrtle and Church Streets.
