NH HILLSBOROUGH — Select Board approves nearly $500,000 in payroll and accounts payable checks. Chairman Iris Campbell moved authorization of payroll checks totaling $185,148.94 and accounts payable checks of $314,762.57, which passed unanimously. The Board also unanimously approved a motion by Selectman Richard Pelletier requesting the Assessor investigate a reported 1 percent property assessment increase that occurred between December 2025 and July 2026, with instructions to report on what happened, why, how many properties were affected, and steps to prevent recurrence at the next Board meeting.
