NH HILLSBOROUGH — Hillsborough selectboard moved to hire a streaming technician and reviewed its police services deal with Deering. Town Administrator Laura Buono will move forward with hiring a tech person to manage livestreaming for the Selectboard, Planning Board, and Zoning Board of Adjustment. Police Chief Chris Parsons presented the three-year police services contract with Deering, which generates $275,000 in 2026, $285,000 in 2027, and $295,000 in 2028, with Hillsborough officers responding to and investigating crimes in Deering.
Selectman Richard Pelletier questioned the arrangement's profitability, and the board agreed the annual amount adequately covers all costs.
