Selectboard approves waiver of Farmers Market fee at Butler Park

Select Board · Meeting of April 23, 2026

NH HILLSBOROUGH — Hillsborough Selectboard unanimously waives Farmers Market usage fee at Butler Park. The motion by Selectman Pelletier, seconded by Selectman Bailey, will grant the waiver annually upon application, supporting local vendors without straining the weekly event's finances. The board appointed May Egner as the Selectboard's representative on the School Scholarship Funds, delegated signing authority to Town Administrator Laura Buono for Woods Woolen Mill ARM Funds documentation, and authorized payment of payroll and accounts payable totaling $871,780.90.

The board learned that Deering will remain in the regional school district but a revised funding formula will increase Hillsborough's annual school assessment by $750,000.
