NH HILLSBOROUGH — Hillsborough Water-Sewer Commission approves near-$27,000 in facility upgrades. Commissioners Dave Lewis and Peter Mellen unanimously approved $6,766 for a cellular alarm system upgrade at the West Main Street pump station and $20,000 for Wastewater Treatment Facility driveway paving. The two-member commission agreed to resubmit pre-applications for Park and Whittemore Street and Preston Street water-loop projects by the June 1 grant deadline.
Administrator Penny Griffin reported that the town cannot place liens on Deering properties for unpaid water fees, prompting the commission to seek legal alternatives for collection.
