Selectboard appoints Campbell chairman; OKs solar pilot and treasurer appointment.

Select Board · Meeting of April 9, 2026

NH HILLSBOROUGH — Hillsborough Selectboard reelects Iris Campbell as Chairman and OKs solar pilot. The board unanimously appointed Campbell to lead the board for 12 months and approved a Pilot-in-Place agreement with Kearsarge Energy for a commercial solar array on private property; Kearsarge has confirmed Eversource registration and queue status. Deputy Treasurer Gail Crimmins was appointed Treasurer effective April 1, 2026, at $2,000 annual compensation, with a search now underway for her replacement.

The board committed $60,000 from the Dana Crane fund to the Woods Woolen Mill reclamation project, which will convert the EPA-remediated site into a park; only $15,000 had been originally budgeted.
