Commission Authorizes Chair to Comment on Subdivision

NH HILLSBOROUGH — Hillsborough Conservation Commission authorizes chair to comment on Myrtle Street subdivision. The commission, led by Chair Richard Head, voted unanimously to empower Head to submit formal comments to the Planning Board regarding concerns about a proposed subdivision on Myrtle Street involving parcels M 11P L 191 and M 23 L 113. Conservation commissioners focused on impacts to multiple wetlands, effects of increased impermeable surfaces during major storm events, and responsibility for maintaining drainage easements and detention ponds.

Head was also authorized to research Department of Environmental Services rules on 50-year flood plains and wetlands permits and to speak at public hearings.
