misc · Meeting of March 18, 2026

NH HILLSBOROUGH — Economic Development Commission reviews housing survey results guiding Master Plan update. Guest Mike Tardiff presented survey data showing support for senior housing and building rehabilitation but opposition to infill development, with cost identified as a barrier to both purchase and retention. The commission discussed a possible Gateway zone along Henniker Street featuring mixed residential and commercial use, potentially with a Tax Increment Financing district.

Planning Director Robyn Payson and Tardiff outlined work for the Planning Board on the Gateway zone and density on Center Road, targeting readiness for Town Meeting 2027.
